Dayton Boat Club

Summer rowing camps are provided by the Dayton Boat Club coaching staff and University of Dayton Rowing Coaches. The athlete-to-coach ratio is an incredible 5:1! Our experienced coaching staff includes a national champion, an A-10 "Coach of the year," and a US Junior National Team development coach. RegattaSport is our sponsor and a T-shirt is included in the camp fee, along with other items.

Intro to Rowing - Juniors

The Introduction to Rowing Camp will take place over three sessions this summer. These camps will teach the basics of the sport of rowing to boys and girls, primarily those entering grades 8-10 (with age waivers in certain cases). The participants meet six times and are taught the basics of boat safety, boat handling, coxswain commands, and, of course, rowing.

Graduation from the introductory session on the water allows the athletes to move up to more advanced offerings. A variety of times will be available for these sessions. Please note schedule preferences on your reply. Click the banner below for more information on our Summer Camps.
