The Dayton Boat Club coaches were pleased with this showing. The Junior girls showed showed that they have top competitive potential and that they are really working well together. The team is winning competitions, retention is extremely high, and the girls are really enjoying themselves.

The team raced 'even' eights to provide good inter-squad competition and boated fours that gave the coaching staff an idea of potential capability in events at Midwests. What was very impressive to the coaches was the natural competitiveness of all of the girls. When the Club's two eights finished close to each other they challenged each other to a re-race to see which was 'really' the fastest! Not typical for a crews finishing a hard race!

Congratulations and keep up the good work.
